The first-generation VW Caddy is based on the Golf I and became a compact pickup classic in the 1980s, whose angular shape and useful loading area still delight fans today. With the VW Caddy MK.1 M Racing Tribute on a scale of 1:18, Solido is paying sporty homage to this cult model. The two-tone paintwork in bold red and clear white surfaces emphasizes the striking lines of the front with the round headlights, while filigree trim strips and cleanly drawn edges sharply emphasize the classic face of the Caddy. Gold-colored cross-spoke wheels fill out the wheel arches and underline the racing look, which is rounded off by start number graphics and subtle sponsor decals. The interior features a black cockpit with finely visible details such as fittings, seat structures and door handles, which authentically capture the workshop charm of the small load carrier.
