Renault 5 GT Turbo MK2, Die-Cast Car, 1:18

The Renault 5 GT Turbo MK2 wears its GT turbo lettering low on the rear side panel, a detail to spot on the shelf. Its blue finish highlights the compact 3-door hatchback shape. Rendered in die-cast metal at 1:18 scale, the model depicts the 1989 vehicle. At the front, the grille, headlights and fog lights reward a closer view of the nose. Windshield wipers, a side mirror and a roof antenna add further exterior details. Rear-window defroster lines give the back of the miniature another feature to examine. For a display photograph, a front-quarter view shows the silver five-spoke wheels beneath the flared arches. Beside other period replicas, the black side trim gives this Renault a recognisable profile.
