VW T1, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:18

Roof skylight windows distinguish the VW T1 above its red and white body, inviting a closer look from an elevated shelf position. A large silver VW emblem sits between the round headlights on the front. Depicting the 1962 microbus at 1:18 scale, this die-cast metal miniature has chrome bumpers and side mirrors that stand out against the painted bodywork. Light-colored bench seats are visible through the glazing, while the steering wheel rewards a look into the front cabin. The dark roof insert contrasts with the pale upper section. For a display of vintage transport, the bus offers a different silhouette from a low passenger car. Its tall cabin and numerous windows invite viewing from the front corner as well as along the side.
