VW Golf Rally, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:43

The VW Golf Rally wears dark metallic green paint, with a RALLYE GOLF front plate that rewards a closer look on the display shelf. Depicting the 1989 vehicle, this die-cast metal replica captures the hatchback’s compact outline in 1:43 scale. Clear window glazing reveals the interior seats, offering another detail to examine beyond the bodywork. A side mirror and rear roof antenna add to the silhouette when the miniature is viewed at an angle. The square headlights, black grille and bumper air intakes are especially visible in a front three-quarter view. Silver multi-spoke wheels give enthusiasts a reason to inspect the automobile from the side as well. Among a collection of period subjects, the green Golf invites comparisons of body shapes and styling details.
