Renault 5 Turbo, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:18

Metallic blue bodywork and contrasting light blue trim make the Renault 5 Turbo's broad wheel arches stand out on a display shelf. The die-cast metal model captures the compact hatchback shape, with black intake grilles behind the doors and a vent in the bonnet. At 1:18 scale, the front end includes rectangular headlights, yellow fog lights and orange indicators around a black grille. Mirror caps, door handles and multi-spoke wheels pick up the lighter blue accents. Windshield wipers, a roof antenna and a silver exhaust pipe add details to examine from different angles. Through the opening driver-side door, the striped seat inserts and red floor frame a cockpit complete with instruments, dashboard vents and a black centre console. Collectors can display the bonnet raised for a view of the front compartment or lift the rear hatch to examine the metallic mechanical components. Renault 5 Turbo markings at the front and rear identify the subject, while the rear window carries its Turbo lettering.
