Volkswagen Golf MKI, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:43

The red Volkswagen Golf MKI wears its Sportline convertible styling with the roof folded back, leaving the cabin visible on the shelf. Depicting the 1992 vehicle, this die-cast metal model invites a closer look from above as well as from the front. The black interior sits beneath a roll bar that stands out against the body colour. Side trim carries the dark contrast along the flanks, while the mirrors match the paintwork. Silver edges pick out the multi-spoke wheels, a detail worth viewing from a low angle. Across the nose, 4 round headlights frame the black grille and the GOLF CABRIO front plate. At 1:43 scale, the replica suits a Volkswagen collection where enthusiasts can compare the shapes of different generations. Its open cabin offers an additional view of the car when displayed beside closed-roof automobiles.
