Bugatti Atlantic, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:18

A riveted seam traces the silver Bugatti Atlantic’s curved body, a detail worth viewing from above as well as from the rear. The rounded fenders frame the wheels beneath a roofline that sweeps towards the tail. Depicting the 1937 Type 57 SC, this die-cast metal model reproduces the vehicle at 1:18 scale for a collection of historic automobiles. The oval grille carries a red Bugatti badge, while the split windscreen has separate wipers. Side vents punctuate the long bonnet, and window frames outline the coupe’s glazing. At the rear, small oval windows and a visible fuel cap reward a closer inspection of the bodywork. Collectors can display the doors open to view the instrument panel, or closed to appreciate the uninterrupted side profile. An angled position on a shelf lets the front grille, wire-spoke wheels and sweeping fenders be seen together. The included contents are the model car and a manual.
