Citroën Type HY, Die-Cast Model Van, 1:18

Orange and white frame the MOTOBECANE markings on this Citroën Type HY, giving the miniature the look of a period service vehicle. Its 1969 subject invites a closer look at commercial motoring alongside passenger-car replicas in a collection. At 1:18, the die-cast metal body offers a substantial canvas for the exterior lettering. The side inscription reads SERVICE USINE ST QUENTIN (AISNE), adding a specific workshop identity to the livery. Black front vents contrast with the silver grille, while the corrugated panels catch light across their ridges. Windshield wipers and a side mirror reward inspection around the cab. Viewed from the front-left corner, the roof lettering and side graphics can be appreciated together. The Citroën Type HY offers collectors a utility-vehicle subject with the character of a working fleet rather than a racing car.
