Shelby Cobra 427 MKII, Die-Cast Car, 1:18

The Shelby Cobra 427 MKII wears the Streetfighters Martini scheme, with coloured bands following the curved nose of this silver roadster. Depicting the 1965 vehicle, the miniature invites a closer look at its broad stance on a collector’s shelf. Round headlights flank a large oval grille, giving the front its recognisable shape. A hood scoop rises above the bonnet, while side vents punctuate the sculpted bodywork. The flank carries a 427 badge beside a small flag graphic, a detail worth noticing beyond the paint scheme. At 1:18 scale, the die-cast metal replica offers room to study these features from different angles. The low, open-top silhouette lends itself to a collection of classic sports automobiles, where its curved fenders can be appreciated beside other period subjects.
