Bugatti Atlantic SC, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:18

The Bugatti Atlantic SC wears black across its long bonnet and teardrop-shaped rear, a silhouette worth viewing from more than one angle. Depicting the 1937 subject, this miniature recalls the Atlantic's place within the Bugatti Type-57 series. The real SC added a supercharger to the 57 S, raising its stated output from 175 to 200 PS. Solido reproduces the coupe in die-cast metal at 1:18 scale, with functioning steering for adjusting its stance on a shelf. An open door offers a closer look at the cabin, including the contrasting steering wheel. At the front, round headlamps flank the grille and its red Bugatti badge, beneath a split windshield with visible wipers. Side vents beside the engine area and external door hinges reward a closer look along the bonnet. The rear view reveals paired oval windows, small tail lights and silver exhaust detailing low beside the body. For a collection of pre-war automobiles, the curved roof and sweeping wheel arches offer plenty to examine beyond the familiar front view.
