Peugeot 205 GTI, Die-Cast Model Car, 1:18

Yellow fog lights beneath rectangular headlights give the red Peugeot 205 GTI its distinctive face, ready for a front-facing spot in a collection. Amber corner indicators and the lion badge add small details worth a closer look. The die-cast metal hatchback carries black bumpers, side mouldings and wheel arch extensions that frame the bodywork. Red accent lines pick out the trim, while the grille's horizontal slats recall the original car's compact front end. Along the sides, GTI and 1.9i markings identify the sporting version, with mirrors and a roof antenna completing the silhouette. At the rear, a black trim panel, exhaust pipe and window defroster lines reward viewing the miniature from another angle. The rear wiper adds another recognisable touch to the tailgate, where Peugeot and 205 GTI lettering remain visible. Collectors can give this replica a place among sporting hatchbacks, with its nose or tail facing out to showcase different details. Its contrasting body colour and trim also suit a display devoted to the cars of the Eighties.
